Helping people Help themselves

Unlimited resources are out there waiting to be utilised. In this section you will find various help lines, resources and references for assistance, support, further personal development and growth. Often we just need direction, a place to start until we discover the untapped potential and power of our own mind. As I've mentioned before my true desire is that you will be able to be your own wise counsel, your own teacher with the help of the wonderful tools, information, resources and references available. This list will continue to expand as new books, new sites come to light. Feel free to contact me to suggest an addition. Something that has helped you, lets pay it forward so that everyone can grow.

In this day and age no one should ever have to feel alone or helpless, no-one.

GRIEF and SYMPATHY
www.griefandsympathy.com

From the author: "If you have come to this website because you are suffering grief due to a bereavement or loss, first of all, may I offer you my deepest sympathy. I hope in these pages to show you ways to feel more positively about the experience that you or a loved one or friend is going through. With a combination of information, experience, advice and common sense, I will share with you what I have learned in my lifetime of nursing and help you to cope with your sadness.

I'm not trying to explain grief to anyone. Most people reading this will know it all too well. I can't understand how you feel, only try to help a little by walking along the lonely pathway with you for a while. Hanging onto life, to a glimmer of hope, is something we do, even when we don't always know why."

MAN THERAPY
http://www.mantherapy.org/

Man Therapy Mission: Working aged men (25-54 years old) account for the largest number of suicide deaths in Colorado. These men are also the least likely to receive any kind of support. They don’t talk about it with their friends. They don’t share with their family. And they sure as heck don’t seek professional treatment. They are the victims of problematic thinking that says mental health disorders are unmanly signs of weakness. And I, Dr Rich Mahogany, am dedicated to changing that.

THE DATING DIRECTORY
http://thedatingdirectory.co/

What is The Dating Directory?

Ahh! every woman wants the fairytale, the handsome prince, the dream career or perhaps the white picket fence with 2.5 children ( if that’s even possible?!) . It seems to be a strong but delicate feminine desire that becomes a part of our making and life because we are just that…woman.

In a world of broken relationships, excess baggage, role reversals and the ever impending pressure to be thinner, prettier or more successful than the person next to you, it becomes a battle and instead of thriving , we only just manage to survive.

This is a site dedicated to every woman, girl, or chick out there who feels like you are alone or doing some sort of battle. Think of it as a nice big pot of tea (or bottle of wine!) where we can all grab a cup, sit down and talk, share, laugh and cry about the joys and woes of being romanced and being woman in the 21st Century.

Songs and Music

Music is a very personal choice subject to our particular taste but I make note of it here to remind how inspirational, helpful and healing music can be. Whether it’s instrumental or has lyrics that inspire you and lift you up. Music is food for the soul and it’s always fun to choose your own ‘couple song’ or your own ‘personal anthem’ - one that inspires and lifts you up and one that relaxes and soothes you.
