A beautiful place to be!

We live in a busy, busy, faced paced world!

As I took my lunch break today (tearing myself away from working on my computer), I headed to one of my usual places of retreat, the park. With lemon soda water in hand, pen in the other (writing this post) I already feel relaxed.

The sun is shining and the busyness of the world is fading.

My question for you is where is your peaceful place? The place you can:

  • Just be,
  • Switch off,
  • Relax,
  • Meditate on nothing but your breathe and peaceful sounds or on a particular question, dream or thought,
  • Write, do a puzzle or read a great book,
  • Take a nap even,

That place seemingly away from the rest of the world.

For me it's the park, there's a beautiful breeze, some glorious birds chirping in the background and a calmness that is both beautiful and necessary.

  • If you haven't found your peaceful place, discover one today. Your mind and body will thank you.
  • If you have a special place but haven't visited for a while, find some time and go.
  • If you're someone who regularly goes to their peaceful place, I bet it makes you feel wonderful, refreshed and more productive when you return.

It maybe the park, the beach, your garden or some off the beaten track cafe.

Where ever it is, enjoy it as much as you can. Besides a medical emergency there's not much that can't wait while you sneak off.

We all need that special, peaceful place!

I'd love for you to share yours in the comments. But later, because right now I hope you're somewhere you love, enjoying this glorious day!

Well time to close my eyes, till next time xxx

P.S There's an older gentleman at the park, he's here this time most days. He practises his ballroom dancing, by himself. Just beautiful!

Where's your peaceful place?
